Glenbard North High School gave our School Spirit Lab the opportunity to transform a variety of areas throughout their school this past summer. We created a fresh, spirited look to kick off the new school year.
We have had the pleasure of working with Glenbard North in the past on several projects, but this summer they turned to us with more blank areas than ever. These spaces needed the School Spirit Lab touch to brighten up their school, both interior and exterior.
This project started with a consultation which included a site visit and taking measurements. After we viewed the spaces, our design team got to work getting the creative juices flowing. The staff at Glenbard North provided a few phrases and slogans such as “Panther Pride” and “We are North” that they wished to use around the school. Then it was up to our designer to relay these messages into original artwork that was cohesive with the school’s branding.
Glenbard's goal was to inspire and motivate students and faculty to have school pride. They wanted to encompass what it means to be a part of the school through hard work. Colorful and meaningful graphics also help to welcome visitors to the school. They also wanted to simply update old signage with a fresh new look.
WALL GRAPHICS, WINDOW GRAPHICS, DOOR WRAPS, BANNERS & MORE
A total of 672 square feet of material ranging from adhesive vinyl, banner vinyl, and perforated window vinyl were used in this project, not including over-laminates. A total of 67 square feet of Aluminum was used for rigid signs.
We produced a total of six brick graphics, one set of perforated window decals, ten 13 oz. vinyl banners, ten 18 oz. vinyl banners, thirteen rigid aluminum signs, two sets of door wraps, and thirty-three vinyl number graphics for labeling doors and windows. Luster and matte over-laminate was used on all items.
Our HP Latex 360 Printers were used to print all of the graphics. These printers use Latex inks to print high quality graphics.
Design concepts and revisions took less than a month, production spanned about a week, and installation was a two day process with a team of four installers.
HARD WORK DOES MATTER
Our friends at Glenbard North always express, “Hard Work Matters”, and here at the School Spirit Lab we couldn’t agree more. It was a complete team effort on all ends to create such a variety of graphics and signage for Glenbard.
