York High School in Elmhurst, Illinois celebrates its Centennial this year and collaborated with us to showcase 100 years of York through collaged posters. We worked diligently with the school and Alumni Association to create historical posters for each decade; showcasing what life was like at York in each decade.
Historical facts about the school and community from 1918 to 2018, were displayed alongside old photos. The designs feature custom collages of photos along with the historical facts provided by the client, then our creative team came up with an original design layout and collage for each decade.
The first run of production was created on foam boards. These were used for York’s Centennial open house. The posters were displayed on easles throughout the gym for alumni and guests to view while walking around each decade table.
"The boards are awesome. Everyone really enjoyed them. We have heard nothing but rave reviews of them since our event. "

We then created a second run of the posters, but on clear acrylic with aluminum standoffs. These graphics were produced as a second surface mount. This means the graphic was adhered to the inside or backside of the acrylic, allowing protection of the graphic and further creating a more professional polished look on the front like a glass frame.
The display of acrylic signs consisted of ten 2’ x 4’ pieces, and one 3’ x 5’ piece. The standoffs that were used allowed for the signs to be 3/4” off of the wall creating dimension.
All of the graphics were printed on our HP Latex 360 Printer. This printer creates high-quality, durable prints that provide scratch resistance compared to hard-solvent inks. Latex Inks ensure rick blacks and glossy results. All prints emerge dry, odor-free, and ready to use.
