Rebrand & School Transformation for Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy

The Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy (IHSCA) provides an education focused on preparing urban youth to succeed in competitive colleges and universities, obtain job-readiness certification for entry-level positions with higher wages in health care, and gain new awareness of and seek out a healthier lifestyle.

The Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy reached out to Bannerville for help designing a full rebrand and transformation to the look of their school.

One of their main objectives was to create new logos that generated school pride, especially when it came to their athletics. At the time, they only had an education logo and no specific athletic mascot logo in their branded colors. They had been using a few different phoenix mascots over the years and wanted to create a clear and cohesive brand that incorporated one official phoenix moving forward.

"Currently we only have a school logo. Our school mascot logo always changes and I want to have something that is professionally done and one we will use from here on out."

The Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy did have some current brand guidelines for the education logo and it was important that the new logos adhere to those guidelines and appropriate colors. When creating their new phoenix logo, they requested intensity. For their updated school crest, they wanted a more regal feel.

After we established the updated logo designs, it was time to design and install branded signage around their school. Bannerville was able to help with this new branding initiative by installing several signage updates around the campus, creating a new cohesive look. We installed many adhesive wall murals, transforming the empty spaces into something the students can call home. Window graphics were used to showcase the updated phoenix logo and school values across multiple panes of glass. Check out all of the areas we transformed with their updated branding below.

An excellent way to recognize multiple victories in a way that does not take up too much wall space.

Light Pole Banners

Welcome visitors to your school’s campus with our outdoor light pole banners. Our light pole banners have been displayed across the country for the past 45+ years and are what we built our Bannerville name on. They are digitally produced using an 18 oz. outdoor vinyl to withstand all weather conditions.
