Transform your library into a memorable space for students, staff, and visitors with custom wall graphics and displays that incorporate themes from their favorite books. Amanda from John F. Kennedy Middle School, located in Plainfield, Illinois, reached out to Bannerville wanting to jazz up up her media center and library with some murals and school branding. She had three spaces in mind: two upper panel areas and the library entry way. "I just wanted to say thank you so much for all you did with our branding in our MC. It turned out better than I could imagine in the space and that is due to you. You brought our vision to life and we are so appreciative!" We started the library transformation with two bright and colorful murals installed on the blank spaces above the two large windows in the library. Her vision was to showcase six books between the two murals. These books included Harry Potter, Hobbit, Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Alice in Wonderland, and The Chronicles of Narnia. She wanted them all to blend together to create one cohesive image. We used one image from each book, along with the six titles and authors, and two quotes. For the library entrance, she wanted to have a graphic with the Hogwarts Castle. For this piece, she wanted to include dimension to make it “pop off the wall”. So for the castle and boats, we used 1/2” mounting board, then layered the pieces on top of the textured wall graphics.
